3D Programmer


Seljax requires a creative, skilled, and motivated software developer to work with a team of professionals developing cutting edge estimation software.


Duties and Responsibility


Work with team members to design, implement, and maintain 3D visuals and 3D interfaces for Seljax Estimating Software.  This requires working in visual studio with C# to provide the best possible 3D experience to the user. Daily tasks would involve using vector-based mathematics to manipulate three-dimensional objects in an object oriented system.

Skills and Knowledge (Required)

  1. Degree or diploma from a recognized post secondary institution
  2. Knowledge and knowhow of object oriented programming methodology
  3. Experience with C like language syntax
  4. Experience in the design and implementation of 3D modeling and rendering systems (CAD like application)
  5. Strong background using vector mathematics
  6. Strong background in linear algebra and 3D geometry
  7. Excellent written and oral communications skills
  8. A positive, team player attitude

Skills and Knowledge (Desirable)

  1. Direct experience with any of the following: Visual Studio, C#
  2. Familiarity with trees and graphs algorithms
  3. Background in procedural object generation
  4. Knowledge of rendering techniques and algorithms
  5. Previous experience working with 3D APIs (OpenGL, Direct3D, XNA)
  6. Familiarity with the construction industry

Database Programmer


Seljax requires a creative, skilled, and motivated software developer to work with a team of professionals developing cutting edge estimation software.


Duties and Responsibility


Duties include designing, developing, and maintaining features for Seljax Estimating Software.  This requires working in visual studio with C# to write and implement new or maintain existing data driven forms and background processes.  Further responsibilities include:  designing database schema to drive user interfaces, crafting SQL scripts for Firebird, implementing database changes.

Skills and Knowledge (Required)

  1. Degree or diploma from a recognized post secondary institution
  2. Knowledge and knowhow of object oriented programming methodology
  3. Experience with C like language syntax
  4. Experience with SQL and relational database design
  5. Excellent written and oral communications skills
  6. Positive attitude and be a team player

Skills and Knowledge (Desirable)

  1. Direct experience with any of the following: Visual Studio, C#, Firebird
  2. Previous experience with data tools available in C#
  3. Previous experience working with installation software (such as Wise, Install Shield, Nullsoft)
  4. Familiarity with the construction industry
