Accountant

Seljax requires a person who is capable of controlling all accounting functions and day to day operations.

 

Job Purpose

  • This position is responsible for managing all accounting duties
  • General ledger maintenance and account reconciliation
  • Month and year end financial reporting together with ongoing operational reporting
  • Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll
  • Ensure that the corporate accounts are maintained in accordance with GAAP, corporate policies and procedures and regulatory standards
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the Corporation's financial statements
  • Clearly and effectively interpret and present information to management
  • Project work as required
  • Office administration duties

Skills & Experience

  • Designation or Certification would be an a asset
  • Must be experienced with computerized accounting systems
  • Experience with QuickBooks would be an asset
  • Proficient personal computer skills in MS Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mature, responsible, dynamic, with strong organization & planning skills
  • Experience in managing staff would be an asset

Job Purpose
