Seljax House Estimating Overview
Seljax House Estimating is the manual method of house estimating, computerized. The program allows you to continue to practice your manual methods of house estimating. Seljax didn’t change the way you perform a house estimate, but rather increased the speed and accuracy of how it is performed.

Estimate Types
The flexibility of Seljax House Estimating gives you everything you need for an accurate estimate for every type of house.

Speed
Once you are familiar with Seljax House Estimating, you will be able to complete a bungalow or rambler estimate in less than 15 minutes. More complicated homes can be completed within an hour. For a framing only estimate, a complete estimate can be done in under 15 minutes.

Accuracy
Seljax House Estimating makes sure you don’t miss anything on your house estimate, bringing every necessary element forward so that you don’t forget it. Calculations depend upon how you have manipulated our formulas to match the way you calculate houses. Seljax House Estimating comes preset for standard house estimating, and you can change any setting to perform the estimate the way you estimate.

How it works
Starting at the foundation and working your way up to the Roof, Seljax Estimating makes House Estimating easy. Simply enter the information from the blueprint and your house is complete. No rocket science here, just straight-forward estimating, just like you have done for years. Selecting products as you go lets you match the estimate to your customers’ specific needs. The first screen shown here sets the basis for your estimate and determines the screens you will see for your particular home. Each screen prompts you for specific information from the blueprint, so even when you do get interrupted you won’t be lost when you get back.
